Here is the little girl who made Simon Cowell a really happy man.
Dreams do not discriminate how old or young you are. If you have a dream, then you should make it come true. Just like how this girl went over the rainbow at just 6 years old. Really great!
According to Wikipedia -
Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social or economic strength of individuals and communities. It often involves the empowered developing confidence in their own capacities.d
But it’s also important to note that empowerment goes two ways. When you empower someone, in return you will be empowered. That’s the new rule of motivation. Just like how the Internet has evolved to be a community driven platform, everything is intermingle and connected. If you want to be empowered and motivated, then the best way to do it is to reach out and empower others. Try it and it might just change your life!
Here are just some random findings from my readings:
- Comfort VS. Freedom
What separates successful people and average people are their priorities. Successful people put freedom more important than comfort, and that’s why they get both. While average people who are short sighted and just focus on comfort will result and cause them never be free. - People Who Talks About Ideas
Another thing about successful people is that they share and talk about ideas whenever they hold a conversation. While average folks will usually just talk about things, people and stuffs. The reason why successful people talk about ideas and other people ideas, define their curiosity to how ideas can change the world. Their mind is always on the future and very seldom about the past. - Creating Luck
There is no such thing as luck. Or maybe to some who are born rich, with great parents and hold a huge barrel of inheritance. To the average folks who wants to be successful, they just need to create their own luck. It’s not impossible, and all you need is to be prepared for the right opportunity when it comes. Remember, not all odds are created equal. But persistence and determination will increase your odds every time if you don’t give up.
Life is about selling.
You either sell something or be sold.
That’s how I think about life sometimes and I think that’s how most things work. If you want to succeed in life, you must treat yourself as a commodity. To push it further, you must treat everything that is important to you as a commodity. This means that you have to find ways to increase the value in yourself and also in the things you believe is important.
A simple way to do this is look at yourself at the mirror and ask yourself - How do I make myself more important to others?
Naturally, when people need you, your access to opportunities will be greater. Approach this by improving yourself in different areas (e.g. skills, presentation, language, ethics, networking, knowledge, etc) and position yourself well. Your goal could be - to make others feel that you are “nice-to-have” as a partner (in business/work/friendship? .. the list goes on). The transition from “nice-to-have” to “must-have” will surely determine your level of success. Successful people are people who are in the position where many people greatly rely on them.
There is one thing that I learn along my journey in life is the value of patience. If you ask anybody if they have patience, some will tell you yes and some will tell you no. Why?
To those who have patience, they know things will fall into place eventually and if it’s just a matter of waiting, then they would wait. For those who don’t have patience, the fear of losing is always on their mind. Whether is time or money, it just bothers them too much to wait for the outcome to reveal itself. In return, they will express their frustration in every way they know how. Though the scope of patience could be rather wide but I will just narrow the topic through our hypothesis.
Fear Vs. Faith
Do you live your life with fear or with faith? Are you afraid things will go so badly that it bothers every second to think of the outcome? Do you worry most of things in life? If you do, then you are consumed by fear. Have a little faith. Be confident that your ability and best endeavor in everything you do is good enough to make you accept the outcome that comes to you. Faith is a very important element that drives your forward in life. If you have to worry, then what else could you celebrate in life?
Good things will come to those who wait. Have some faith.
